Beginning part 2

Well we start last February, Elizabeth, one of my friends, calls me up at the knitting store to ask if her friend, Bella, could come and sit while she knitted and chatted with other friends. Elizabeth said, that she would not be knitting but working on Teddy Bears, and had some needle felting to share. I told her bring Bella down would love to see what she is working on!!!!!!

Bella was very cool person to meet. She had about 10 bears with her that had to be about 6 inches tall. They were made out of alpaca, and the traditional mohair, which I am allergic to. I did fall in love with one of the bears that was made out of a white alpaca. He was so cool. He fit in the palm of my hand, and his eyes looked into yours and soul, and said Hello!! I think that is where I got hooked. I kept checking on Bella, and Elizabeth, and our other friend Camille, and I would pick up that alpaca bear and talk to Bella about him, how the joints worked and such.It got to be about closing and Bella comes up to me and asks if I have been knitting long. I told her about 30 years. She asked if I had a bear pattern that I would like to knit, I told her yes. I was not expecting what was coming next. Bella thought that I had promise of being a teddy bear maker, and could make a good living at it as well. She liked my energy and gave me her template of the bears she was working on that night. She also said she would be back in June and we would have a bear making class that she would like to see a bear made from me.June comes around and the bear class became very interesting. It started out why do I want to make bears, I answered cause someone told me that I had promise, and could make money making bears. I also added that weekend in February when I met Bella, I had crashed my computer looking for bear parts on how to make bears, needle felt bears. It took me a month to fix my computer. After hearing that, Bella said she would teach me to make bears, but with one condition that I would teach the love of bears to someone else when it came the time.So here we are, Wicked Bear Fibers, where I make Wicked Bears from Wicked Fibers!!!
